Let the work begin…
Last night we hung the drywall in the corner of the laundry room where
the boiler will be. We will rock the rest of the room when the
project is complete and we no longer need to access the joists in the
ceiling. The weekend to-do list will keep us out of trouble and the
only reason we'll need to go to the gym is to sit in the hot tub. Here
are the first things that came to mind when we made our list this
morning: tape and paint drywall in laundry, remove the beadboard from
the front and back porch, put a coat of varnish on the interior side of
the back door, remove the blocking and any nails from the joists to
prep for the radiant joist traks, patch the subfloor on the first floor
and hopefull rough plumb in the half bath that will be on the first
floor. Hopefully we'll have checked off a few of these before we
pick Nick's dad up at the airport later today. I'm off to set up
the workstation and get busy!
