New Toilet

Since we have everything out of the upstairs bathroom and we are close to re-installing fixtures, we decided to go ahead and buy a new toilet. We were planning on putting a Toto Aquia toilet in the new 1/2 bath on the first floor, but since our upstairs bath is turning out so nice, we thought we'd install one upstairs and see how we like it. I placed the order today and am picking it up tomorrow morning. We won't be able to install it until Monday night at the earliest, but that's okay. The multiple trips to the basement to go to the bathroom are getting old quick, but the end is near! We'll let everyone know if there's an improvement in our water bill. We ordered it from Terry Love, who's got a pretty cool plumbing forum on his site. Here's the Aquia:

we put in a toto toilet too. it's fantastic. I love the non-slamming lid and the airplane-like flushing.

I am absolutely jealous. That toilet looks even better in your bathroom than in the image you posted above. Congratulations on that. After reviewing your site, I found another great home improvement site Home Improvement Ideas Blog that also has some amazing before and afters. But I think yours is one of my favorites!

We just got our Toto installed last summer and its so great. We have the wide opening and that thing flushes so fast that it is unbelievable.

Looking great and congrats on getting your "new" tub upstairs.
