Upstairs Bath Finished Product - Almost.
I realized this weekend that we never posted any photos of the upstairs bath that we renovated in earnst last January. I realized because I found myself snapping a photo of the (almost) finished product to send off to someone at HGTV who had posted in the HouseBlogs forum wanting to hear from folks who had used bamboo in a bathroom. I knew we hadn't taken any "money shots" previously.
Here are the posts that document the saga of the upstairs bath. In as few words as possible: We gutted the bath 4 years ago and left it sit when we found structural problems. Trissa complained about not having an upstairs bath once she got pregnant last year, so for Christmas I surprised her with a clawfoot tub and a plan to minimally install it. We went beyond minimal, and now have a pretty sweet upstairs bath.
And here is the photo I took this weekend. We still have some trim work to do around the window and door. When we get to those aspects I'll post again with more shots of the vanity and entrance.

Here are the stats for the room:
- < 50 square feet
- 4 1/2 foot vintage clawfoot tub
- Toto Aquia toilet
- Bamboo floor
- All new drywall (original ceiling)
- All new framing in the floor (original destroyed by previous plumber)
- Home Depot vanity and mirror (way better than it sounds, I promise)
Oh, and here's the "before" shot:
