First coat done
I sanded the bases for all the cabinets (except the face front by the fridge) and put the first coat of varnish on all of the cabinets, except the island. It went pretty smoothly, but I forgot how long it can take. Nick and I will move the countertop off of the island and I can put a coat on that later tonight. If I get a lot done tomorrow I will be able to be done with varnishing either tomorrow night or on Thursday. Then I can plan and organize where things go in the cupboards. I'll still have the doors and drawer fronts to do, but I can varnish those in the shop.
