I am the current photo scanner at the KC archives that you got your historic photos from, so I was surprised to stumble across your house blog and find these pictures. I have been there for 3+ years now, but I can see that I did not scan your photos. I 'clean-up" the photos that I scan by getting rid of the misc. splotches and tape marks that you can see in your 1937 photo. It's even possible that we have the original 1937 negative -your photo is a copy of what was in the property record card.
